Abstracts

Submission of abstracts for #Sportskongres 2020 is not open.

The abstract submission template contains the following mandatory headings: ‘Introduction‘, ‘Materials and Methods‘, ‘Results‘ and ‘Conclusion‘.

The abstract cannot exceed a total of 250 words including headings. Full namecountry of residencetitleand affiliation are required for all listed authors. You will be able to indicate if you prefer presentation by poster or oral communication, but please note that the scientific committee will ultimately decide the form of presentation.

Please be aware that all accepted abstracts will be presented and available on the #sportskongres app. Furthermore, all participants with an abstract chosen for a poster presentation should submit a high resolution .jpeg file of their poster no longer than 2 weeks before the Congress to have it presented in our #Sportskongres app.
So forth authors do not want to have abstracts on our app please let us know by contacting KongresKompagniet.

Oral presentations

Each presentation will be 8 minutes followed by 2 minutes of discussion in English. Presentations should be supported by PowerPoint slides with text in English. Based on the ratings of the scientific committee, the six best submitted abstracts will enter the oral presentation competition at the congress. In the competition, these six presentations will be judged by a panel of international experts, including scientific journal editors. There will be an award for the best and the second best presentation.

1st prize: DKK 4.500
2nd prize: DKK 2.500

Poster presentations

A formal poster walk will take place at the Sportskongres 2020. Presenters will have 3 minutes to present followed by 2 minutes of discussion.

During the congress, all posters will be judged by the Scientific Committee. There will be an award for the best poster at the congress, based on the summed scores of the Scientific Committee. There will also be a People´s Choice Best Poster Award based on audience voting during the poster walk.

Poster Award winners will be announced at the Gala dinner on Friday evening.

Posters can be a maximum of 120 cm (height) x 90 cm (width).
